I don't remember being totally asquee when I read the first few books, so probably not as much like real wolves as I'd like, but they're still way less frustrating for me than most werewolf books.

As far as the covers go, I suspect she doesn't have much control over them; perhaps I shall ask (although I doubt it's something she'd publicly comment on).
